PatraData, a big data-based political research and consulting institution, released simulation results for the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election. The results show a tight race between two strong candidates, Anies Baswedan and Ridwan Kamil, with a narrow margin.
"Anies is predicted to top the vote share at 17,800 polling stations (TPS) based on the total number of polling stations for the 2024 election. Meanwhile, Ridwan Kamil has the potential to dominate the vote share at 13,664 polling stations," said PatraData's Director of Research and Assistance, Hasmin Aries Pratama, in a statement on Monday, June 24.
